ONE DAY WITH…

1. What are you currently working on?
Currently I’m assembling and implementing a test stand to evaluate and choose a quality critical component.

2. What was your most exciting project?
All projects I worked on during my first six months have been exciting due to the complexity and variety of the different tasks.

3. Describe the team you are working in with three words.
Enthusiastic, motivated and funny.

4. What is special about your job at eGym?
The fact that you get various responsibilities at the very beginning of your job and have your own projects to manage and organize.

5. How would you describe eGym in three words?
Dynamic, humorous, friendly

6. What is your favorite eGym event?
Summer team event.

1. What are you currently working on?
Currently, meaning the last three days, I was busy with installing the new office kitchen. Despite the kitchen project the last few weeks have been calmer. I was responsible for the technical installation of our machines at the IHRSA tradeshow in the US.

Furthermore, there are a bunch of projects for our eGym machines, for example updates for the machines in the fitness studios, frequency converters, some cost efficiency projects and the development of the machines to sell them in series in the US. But what I am personally doing at the moment is about 80% team lead and 20% smaller projects, like in supplier support and purchasing.

2. What was your most exciting project?
My biggest project was our frequency converter which has been finished last year. We have worked on the project about one and a half years, from the development to the implementation in series production. Finally, all our plans worked out. The converter is a big benefit for us because it saves us bare money per machine and is also a better technical solution. This has been my biggest, longest and most exciting project so far.

3. Describe the team you are working in with three words.
Versatile – a lot of different characters; highly motivated; and nerdy, but in a positive way😊

4. What is special about your job at eGym?
I am an eGymee for a long time already. I started as employee number 26 or 27. In the beginning I was responsible for a huge sector. My job included programming, the whole electronics and also taking care of the suppliers. In very special cases I also worked as a service technician in the fitness studios. Now, it is still the variety of tasks which is special for me. If I am interested in a special project I can simply do it. Additionally I really love to coordinate my team, which is growing, so we will be eight members in May.

5. How would you describe eGym in three words?
“Vollgas” – the way we work, hard and a little bit chaotic at times, but very fast, amazing. That’s it 😊.

6. What is your favorite eGym event?
My favorite eGym events were the FitnessFridays, where eGymees could invite their friends to a cool party in the office.
